Aisha Buhari Caused Gridlock In Ikeja GRA. All Roads leading to Ikeja GRA this afternoon were cordoned off,because the wife of the President was on a working visit to the State. The President wife was visiting the Police Training Institute in Ikeja,to flag-off an empowerment programme. Prior to her arrival,all roads were cordoned off for about an hour subjecting commuters without alternative route to an hour long traffic gridlocked. And when she finally arrived,there were more than 60 vehicles in her entourage. Which included sophisticated SUV's, Paramedics, Press men and Security personnel. With the President's Change Mantra, one expected the wife to set an example by cutting short on such extravaganza especially now that Nigeria is in recession.
